Implementación de nuevas metodologías de reclutamiento y selección para mejorar el perfil del guardia de seguridad
(2025-06-28) MENDIETA RAMIREZ VALERIA MADELAYNE; MORENO VILLON ISABEL VICTORIA
Due to the increasing insecurity in Guayaquil, the demand for private security services has significantly risen, posing an ongoing challenge for companies in the sector: recruiting and retaining suitable operational personnel. High turnover rates, lack of specific training, and the absence of standardized selection criteria directly impact service quality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of new recruitment and selection methodologies aimed at improving the profile of security guards. The use of competency-based interviews, psychometric testing, and background checks is proposed as key tools to strengthen hiring processes. The research seeks to develop a methodological proposal tailored to the local context, with the goal of reducing staff turnover and enhancing the efficiency of operational human talent in private security companies.
