Abstract
The objective of this research is to analyze the
effect of work-related stress on employee engagement,
with the goal of determining how compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations contributes
to a favorable reduction of these effects. The sample
consisted of 100% of employees. The survey was
administered using Google Analytics. Once the
instrument that allowed for data collection was applied,
the levels assessed in the survey were tabulated and
analyzed individually. Regarding the correlational
analysis of the variables, the hypothesis of an inverse
correlation between stress and engagement was
confirmed. In conclusion, it was determined that
employees do present significant levels of work-related
stress, which negatively affects their level of
organizational engagement.
Description
El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el
efecto del estrés laboral en el compromiso de los
colaboradores, con la finalidad de determinar cómo el
cumplimiento de las normas de Seguridad y Salud en el
trabajo contribuye a la reducción favorable de estos
efectos. La muestra estuvo conformada por el 100%
colaboradores. Mediante la aplicación para la encuesta se
utilizó Google Form. Una vez aplicado el instrumento
que permitió el levantamiento de información se procedió
a tabular y analizar individualmente los niveles evaluados
en la encuesta. En lo que respecta al análisis
correlacional de las variables se comprobó la hipótesis
que si existe una correlación inversamente proporcional
entre estrés y compromiso. En conclusión, se determinó
que los trabajadores si presentan niveles significativos de
estrés laboral, afectando negativamente en el nivel de
compromiso organizacional.
