Abstract

The research project focuses on the importance of cognitive strategies for the development of meaningful learning in boys and girls in the first year of basic education. The objective is to determine the influence of these strategies on said development. This research aims to understand how cognitive strategies impact student learning at this specific educational level. It also focuses on identifying which strategies are most effective in promoting learning that goes beyond mere memorization, allowing students to build a knowledge that has meaning and relevance to them. The conclusions derived from this research will provide valuable information for educators and education professionals, allowing them to design and adapt their pedagogical practices to promote lasting learning in infants. Furthermore, this study can contribute to the development of educational policies that promote the use of effective cognitive strategies in the school curriculum.
