Abstract
Description
Early detection of dyslexia in early education is essential to address cognitive and linguistic challenges. At the Torremolinos Educational Unit in Ecuador, the lack of an accurate detection system is a problem. Collaboration between teachers and the DECE department is required to identify early signs of the disorder in children aged 3 to 4 years.
The research will focus on the Torremolinos Educational Unit, exploring best practices, necessary resources, success indicators and collaboration strategies. Objectives include establishing process guides, collaborating with professionals, and establishing a continuous monitoring system. Exploratory and comparative methods will be used, with interviews, observations and surveys.
The target population includes 145 initial level students, from which a representative sample of 74 students will be selected. The lack of teacher training in early detection is a challenge, although its importance is recognized. It is recommended to implement training programs, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote continued research to improve the early detection of dyslexia and ensure effective support for students.
