Abstract
The present research work on the participation of parents in the teaching-learning process of the "Belisario Andrade" Basic Education School of the Chordeleg canton corresponding to the 2022-2023 school year.
It negatively influences the teaching-learning process of their children because they appreciate their lack of interest in their education, causing discomfort in the educational field. Representatives must be guides and examples for their children to achieve significant learning.
In this case analysis, the survey technique was applied to teachers, parents and students with the purpose of collecting information that was later interpreted in diagrams with their respective analysis, demonstrating that there is a lack of participation in the teaching process - learning.
The research work is described in the problem, the background, the importance and scope, delimitation of the Educational Institution, explanation of the problem, theoretical foundation, methodology, analysis of results, presentation of findings, conclusions, recommendations, bibliography and annexes.

El presente trabajo de investigación sobre la participación de los padres de familia en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje de la Escuela de Educación Básica "Belisario Andrade" del cantón Chordeleg correspondiente al año lectivo 2022 -2023.
Influye de modo negativo en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje de sus hijos debido a que aprecian su desinterés por su educación, ocasionando malestar en el campo educativo, los representantes deben ser guías y ejemplo para sus hijos para lograr aprendizajes significativos.
En este análisis de caso se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta a docentes, padres de familia y estudiantes con la finalidad de recolectar información que después fue interpretada en diagramas con su respectivo análisis logrando evidenciar que si existe la falta de participación en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje.
El trabajo de investigación se encuentra descrito en el problema, los antecedentes, la importancia y alcances, delimitación de la Institución Educativa, explicación del problema, fundamentación teórica, metodología, análisis de resultados, presentación de hallazgos, conclusiones, recomendaciones, bibliografía y anexos.
