ANÁLISIS DE LA INFLUENCIA DE LA LECTURA COMPRENSIVA EN EL PROCESO DE PLANTEO Y RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS DE APLICACIÓN DE MATEMÁTICAS DE LA BÁSICA SUPERIOR DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA YOUNG LIVING ACADEMY

Abstract

This work investigates the comprehensive reading skills developed in the teaching-learning process that the students of the Unidad Educativa Young Living Academy have enhanced during the years of Higher Basic General Education, an instance prior to Baccalaureate. In this research, comprehensive reading skills are investigated at its five levels: literal, reorganizing, inferential, critical and appreciative. The study provides important data that affects the abilities that have been developed to be able to decode, interpret and respond to written mathematical problems. These skills are measured according to the ability to recognize the variables with which the study has been conducted: goals, methods, restrictions and data. These measurement parameters are compared with the skills with performance criteria that are evaluated in the current national curriculum, both in Language and Literature, and in Mathematics.
