Abstract
The didactic resources are those means by which the teacher can explain in a better way the knowledge that he wants to transmit to his students. The objective was to determine the incidence of didactic resources in the development of basic skills of 4-year-old children from the Admiral Illingworth Naval Academy educational institution. A mixed approach type of research was used with a cross-sectional research cohort and its variables were measured through the following instruments: Jack Capon's perceptual-motor evaluation test and an observation sheet prepared by Sonia Bustos Aguirre. The sample consisted of 71 4-year-old students of both sexes from a private institution located in the city of Guayaquil. For the analysis of results, measures of central tendency and the Pearson correlation coefficient were used. Therefore, it is concluded that no significant relationship was found between the didactic resources variable and the motor skills variable. In future research, it is recommended that there be previously identified didactic resources, so that a comparative study can be carried out between their implementation and the sessions of body expression and motor skills.

Los recursos didácticos son aquellos medios mediante el cual el docente puede explicar de una mejor forma los conocimientos que quiere transmitir a sus estudiantes. Se tuvo como objetivo determinar la incidencia de los recursos didácticos en el desarrollo de las habilidades básicas de los niños de 4 años de la institución educativa Academia Naval Almirante Illingworth. Se empleó un tipo de investigación de enfoque mixto con una cohorte de investigación transversal y sus variables fueron medidas a través de los siguientes instrumentos: Test de evaluación perceptivo-motriz de Jack Capon y una ficha de observación elaborada por Sonia Bustos Aguirre. La muestra estuvo construida por 71 estudiantes de 4 años de ambos sexos de una institución privada ubicada en la ciudad de Guayaquil. Para el análisis de resultados se empleó medidas de tendencia central y el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Por lo tanto, se concluye que no se encontró una relación significativa entre la variable recursos didácticos y la variable habilidades motrices. En futuras investigaciones, se recomienda que existan recursos didácticos previamente identificados, de tal forma que se pueda realizar un estudio comparativo entre su implementación y las sesiones de expresión corporal y motricidad.
