dc.descriptionEl presente estudio planteó como objetivo el estructurar indicadores de rendimiento (KPI) y el cumplimiento de los objetivos estratégicos, con la finalidad de hacerla más eficiente a la Empresa Pública de Agua Potable Aguapen-EP. El enfoque fue de carácter Mixto (Cuantitativo y Cualitativo), manejado bajo un diseño de tipo Descriptivo y No Experimental. Para ello se desarrollaron encuestas y entrevistas con las siguientes dimensiones, la variable independiente se identificaron la eficiencia en la generación de facturas, la recuperación de la cartera y el tiempo de solución de reclamos del área de Servicio al Cliente, y la dimensión de la variable dependiente se identificó a la eficiencia operativa de la institución. Los cargos a los que se aplicaron las encuestas son los Coordinadores de la Unidad Comercial, Recuperación de Cartera, Gestión de Servicio al Cliente, y asistentes del área de facturación y caja, Coactiva/Cobranza, financiera, servicio al cliente, comercialización y distribución. Los jefes a los que se aplicó las entrevistas fueron el área financiera, Tesorería, Servicio al Cliente, Operación de Cartera y Gestión de Riesgos. Entre los principales resultados se identificó que el 95% de los encuestados indican que existen procesos informales pero no procesos revisados y aprobados por la Dirección General de AGUAPEN-EP. el 100% de los entrevistaron indicaron que al no tener indicadores KPI´s, no se puede medir y controlar el correcto avance de los procesos, sin poder verificar y comparar la eficiencia de las acciones tomadas. Finalmente, se concluye que la implementación de los indicadores KPI´s propuesto, permitió la evolución operativa, debido a una mejor gestión en temas de facturación, cobranza y servicio al cliente de la EP.
dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study was to structure performance indicators (KPIs) and the fulfillment of strategic objectives in the Public Drinking Water Company Aguapen-EP. The approach was of a mixed nature (Quantitative and Qualitative), managed under a Descriptive and Non-Experimental design. To this end, surveys and interviews were developed with the following dimensions: the independent variable identified the efficiency in the generation of invoices, the recovery of the portfolio and the time of resolution of complaints in the Customer Service area, and the dimension of the dependent variable was identified to the operational efficiency of the institution. The positions to which the surveys were applied are the Coordinators of the Commercial Unit, Portfolio Recovery, Customer Service Management, and assistants in the billing and cashier area, Coactive/Collection, financial, customer service, marketing and distribution. . 100% of the interviewees indicated that since they do not have KPI indicators, the correct progress of the processes cannot be measured and controlled, without being able to verify and compare the efficiency of the actions taken. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of the proposed KPI indicators, allowed the operational evolution, due to a better management in billing, collection and customer service issues of the PE.
