dc.descriptionEn esta investigación se pretende analizar las diferentes dificultades o ventajas de a la entrada de camarones ecuatorianos que son exportados a los diferentes mercados dentro de Asia en los últimos cuatro años, en especial a Vietnam. El enfoque de la investigación fue tanto cuantitativo como cualitativo, por lo que se procedió a la recopilación de datos estadísticos proveniente de fuentes fidedignas que correspondan a la evolución de las exportaciones de camarón y productos relacionados durante el período estipulado. Entre los resultados se encontró un incremento porcentual del 40% entre 2011 y 2016, lo cual se traduce en casi mil millones. Vietnam importa del ecuador el 55% del total de camarón, el cual es después exportado a mercados vecinos tales como China, Japón, y Corea del Sur. Se concluye entonces que las exportaciones de camarón ecuatoriano a Vietnam han tenido una favorable evolución, en la cual se visualiza un incremento exponencial en el período analizado. Las relaciones bilaterales entre ambos países en temas de comercio, serían fundamentales para abrir espacio a diferentes productos ecuatorianos que tendrían una buena acogida dentro de los mercados asiáticos. Como recomendación, es importante que los exportadores analicen estos casos específicos para poder enfocarse en las preferencias de los consumidores al momento de diversificar su producción a productos industrializados.es
dc.description.abstractThis research aims to analyze the different difficulties or advantages of entering Ecuadorian shrimp that are exported to different markets within Asia in the last four years, especially to Vietnam. The focus of the research was both quantitative and qualitative, so that statistical data were collected from reliable sources corresponding to the evolution of exports of shrimp and related products during the stipulated period. Among the results, a percentage increase of 40% was found between 2011 and 2016, which translates into almost one billion. Vietnam imports 55% of the total shrimp from the equator, which is then exported to neighboring markets such as China, Japan, and South Korea. It is concluded that exports of Ecuadorian shrimp to Vietnam have had a favorable evolution, which shows an exponential increase in the period analyzed. The bilateral relations between both countries on trade issues, would be fundamental to open space to different Ecuadorian products that would have a good reception within the Asian markets.es
