Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the factors affecting academic performance of students in
inclusive educational contexts in Ecuador. A qualitative methodology was used, based on the
documentary review of academic sources, official reports, and specialized articles on inclusive
education. The research focused on identifying the main socioeconomic, pedagogical, and
psychosocial barriers influencing academic performance. Through a comparative analysis of
different educational approaches, it is concluded that the implementation of inclusive strategies
and teacher training are key factors for improving equity and academic performance. Additionally,
the importance of educational policies that promote inclusion at all levels of the educational system
is emphasized. This study provides valuable insights for improving inclusive education in the
country.

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar los factores que afectan el rendimiento académico de los
estudiantes en contextos educativos inclusivos en Ecuador. Para ello, se utilizó una metodología
cualitativa basada en la revisión documental de fuentes académicas, informes oficiales y artículos
especializados en educación inclusiva. La investigación se centró en la identificación de las
principales barreras socioeconómicas, pedagógicas y psicosociales que influyen en el desempeño
escolar. A través de un análisis comparativo de diferentes enfoques educativos, se concluye que la
implementación de estrategias inclusivas y la capacitación docente son factores clave para mejorar
la equidad y el rendimiento académico. Además, se resalta la importancia de políticas educativas
que promuevan la inclusión en todos los niveles del sistema educativo. Este estudio aporta valiosos
puntos para la mejora de la educación inclusiva en el país.
