Abstract

The application of business intelligence is a methodical process that contemplates the thorough and consistent analysis of all the internal and external aspects that promote the operation of a company, which allows us to have a broad perspective of the business reality, key information at the moment. to make decisions related to different factors that directly affect the optimization of processes and the correct functioning of the organization. Under this premise, the objective of this research was to design a Dashboard using business intelligence tools to automate data analysis in CAMPAL, evaluating its impact on improving decision making. The research has a quantitative approach, descriptive-explanatory, with an experimental design. Through the application of a survey to 9 employees of the CAMPAL company. The result was that the implementation of the dashboard resulted in a positive impact on the development of the organization, improving the productivity of the company and making correct decisions that facilitate the conception of the goals established in the short or long term. Therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of said tool made it possible to reduce preparation times and duration of boards of directors, increase efficiency and productivity in the sales process and generate an environment that fosters effective control over the marketing of the products offered. by the company.
