Abstract
This research analyzes how poor reading habits affect reading comprehension,
with the aim of strengthening the development of reading skills in sixth-grade students.
It seeks to motivate students to read regularly, understand, reflect, and express their
personal ideas based on the texts they read. Additionally, it aims to enrich their
vocabulary and improve their overall reading performance.
The various chapters of this research detail the problem of deficient reading
habits and how this leads to limited reading comprehension skills in children. The
proposed objectives and each stage of the research process were carried out in order to
collect and analyze information that allows for pedagogical intervention to improve the
reading comprehension of sixth-grade students. The goal is to enhance reading
comprehension skills and foster the habit of reading in students, which will be
important and meaningful across all areas of knowledge.
Description
La presente investigación analiza como los escasos hábitos de lectura inciden
en la comprensión lectora, con la finalidad fortalecer el desarrollo de habilidades
lectoras en los estudiantes de sexto grado, motivando al estudiante a leer con
regularidad, comprender, reflexionar y expresar sus ideas personales a partir de los
textos leídos; además, busca enriquecer su léxico y mejorar su desempeño lector.
Los diferentes capítulos que contiene esta investigación, detallan la
problemática de los hábitos de lectura deficientes y como esto causa que los niños
tienen escasas habilidades de comprensión lectora; los objetivos propuestos y cada
etapa del proceso investigativo, se realizó con el fin de recolectar y analizar
información que permita intervenir pedagógicamente para mejorar la comprensión
lectora de los estudiantes de sexto grado. Con esto, se busca mejorar la habilidad de
comprensión e implementar el hábito de lectura en los estudiantes lo cual será muy
importante y significativo para todas las áreas del conocimiento.
