Abstract
The present research entitled "Psychomotor development and its impact on the learning of two-year-olds at the Chikitines Children's Center in Guayaquil" had as general objective to analyze how psychomotor development influences the academic performance of two-year-olds from the Chikitines Children's Center in Guayaquil. The findings indicate that children with adequate psychomotor development are more actively involved in school activities and perform better in academic tasks, this underlines the close relationship between motor development and effective learning, however, a significant discrepancy in infants' motor skills was observed, which negatively affected the participation and performance of some children, it is therefore essential to address these differences in order to ensure an inclusive educational environment that supports each child's development and learning.

La presente investigación titulada “Desarrollo psicomotor y su impacto en el aprendizaje de infantes de dos años del Centro Infantil Chikitines De Guayaquil” tuvo por objetivo general analizar cómo el desarrollo psicomotor influye en el rendimiento académico de los infantes de dos años del Centro Infantil Chikitines de Guayaquil. Los hallazgos indican que los niños con un desarrollo psicomotor adecuado participan más activamente en las actividades escolares y obtienen mejores resultados en tareas académicas, esto subraya la estrecha relación entre el desarrollo motor y el aprendizaje efectivo, sin embargo, se observó una significativa discrepancia en las habilidades motoras de los infantes, lo que afectó negativamente la participación y el rendimiento de algunos niños, por ello es esencial abordar estas diferencias para garantizar un entorno educativo inclusivo que apoye el desarrollo y aprendizaje de cada niño.
