dc.description	Este trabajo de titulación presenta resultados y nuevas interrogantes sobre la vinculación de las personas con sus barrios y el análisis de muchos problemas urbanos existentes en la ciudad de Guayaquil, derivados de una investigación cuyo objetivo principal fue reelaborar y contrastar un modelo genérico- teórico sobre las distintas formas de diseñar, rediseñar y contribuir con el espacio residencial y público. Además trata de incrementar la relación existente entre los habitantes y sus barrios y así mismo la interacción entre los arquitectos y los ciudadanos. Con proyección a propuestas que reduzcan la R e s u m e n congestión vehicular, incrementando los aspectos ambientales en las comunidades y generando sectores más activos. Se partió de un análisis urbano de los problemas y la realidad que se vive actualmente, seguido de una aproximación a distintos barrios en la ciudad, centrada en el usuario y las contribuciones a estos sectores durante ya varios años. dc.description.abstract	This thesis shows some results and new questions about the relation between the people with their neighborhoods and the analysis of many urban problems in Guayaquil, obtained from a research where the main goal was to re-elaborate and contrast a theorist-generic model about the different ways of designing, re-designing and contribute with the residential and A B S T R A C T public space. This thesis also sought to increase the existing relation between the residents and their neighborhoods and at the same time the relation between architects and citizens, likewise generate long-term projects to decrease the traffic and increase environmental culture on communities.This work started from an urban analysis of every day problems, followed by an approach to different neighborhoods of the city, focused on the residents and their contribution on these areas for many years.
