| dc.description | El síndrome de distrés respiratorio en el neonato (SDR), es padecimiento respiratorio que se presenta de manera reiterada en el recién nacido y es una de las principales causas de mortandad neonatal. El estudio realizado se basó en la observación descriptiva de todos los recién nacidos (RN) durante el periodo 2015 a 2017 a los que se les realizaron valoraciones para establecer un diagnosticó final de (SDR) en el Hospital Francisco de lcaza Bustamante de la ciudad de Guayaquil. De acuerdo a la muestra de 101 pacientes recién nacidos (RN) valorados el 41.6% registraron bajo peso al nacer. Las dificultades en cuanto a la Escala Silverman reflejaron un puntaje de 4-6 con una moderada a leve deficiencia respiratoria equivalente al 66.3% del total de la muestra. Las principales dificultades en la atención a los RN, se evidencio ante la falta de un protocolo claro de atención en el manejo del tránsito neonatal para prevenir e identificar complicaciones inminentes. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | The syndrome of respiratory distress in the neonate (RDS) is a respiratory condition that occurs repeatedly in the newborn and is one of the main causes of neonatal mortality. The study was based on the descriptive observation of all newborns (NB) during the period 2015 to 2017, who underwent evaluations to establish a final diagnosis (SDR) at the Francisco de lcaza Bustamante Hospital in the city of Guayaquil. According to the sample of 101 newborns (NB) patients, 41.6% had low birth weight. The difficulties regarding the Silverman Scale reflected a score of 4-6 with a moderate to slight respiratory deficiency equivalent to 66.3% of the total sample. The main difficulties in the care of the newborns, was evidenced by the lack of a clear protocol of care for the newborn, where the presence of (RDS) at the moment of being received in the intensive care unit can be identified urgently (ICU). | es |
