dc.descriptionEl presente caso de negocio tiene como objetivo identificar la mejor alternativa para optimizar los controles aduaneros en Ecuador para proteger los Derechos de Propiedad Intelectual (DPI) y reducir el ingreso de mercancías ilícitas. Aplicando el modelo de caso de negocio de Harvard, se analizaron alternativas identificadas mediante entrevistas al grupo clave de interés, evaluándose según su impacto estratégico, organizacional y viabilidad operativa. La problemática surge debido al incremento en la falsificación de productos, lo que ha ocasionado pérdidas económicas y desafíos legales, por ello se desarrollarán alternativas que darán forma a las posibles soluciones para este caso de negocio.
dc.description.abstractThis business case aims to identify the best alternative for optimizing customs controls in Ecuador to protect Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and reduce the entry of illicit goods. Applying the Harvard business case model, alternatives identified through interviews with key stakeholders were analyzed and evaluated based on their strategic and organizational impact, as well as their operational feasibility. The problem arises from the increase in product counterfeiting, which has resulted in economic losses and legal challenges. Therefore, alternatives will be developed to shape potential solutions for this business case.
