El abandono escolar es un problema creciente en muchos países y afecta particularmente a los jóvenes de entre 14 y 16 años. Este fenómeno es preocupante para los directivos escolares, ya que puede tener consecuencias graves para el futuro de los estudiantes y para la sociedad en general. La investigación sobre este tema ha identificado diversos factores que pueden contribuir a la deserción escolar, incluyendo factores institucionales como la reprobación, aspectos positivos docentes, características positivas del colegio y recursos institucionales. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar cómo estos factores institucionales se relacionan con la propensión de deserción escolar de los alumnos del Recinto “La Germania” de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Para ello, se llevará a cabo un estudio empírico que permitirá identificar las fortalezas y debilidades de la institución en relación con la prevención del abandono escolar. Los estudios de esta investigación serán de gran utilidad para los directivos escolares y docentes, ya que les permitirán diseñar estrategias efectivas para prevenir la deserción escolar y mejorar la calidad de la educación en la zona. | |
| dc.description.abstract | School dropout is a growing problem in many countries and particularly affects young people between the ages of 14 and 16. This phenomenon is concerning for school officials, as it can have serious consequences for the future of students and for society as a whole. Research on this topic has identified various factors that can contribute to school dropout, including institutional factors such as failure, positive teacher aspects, positive school characteristics, and institutional resources. The objective of this article is to analyze how these institutional factors relate to the propensity for school dropout among students at "La Germania" Campus in the city of Guayaquil. To achieve this, an empirical study will be conducted that will identify the strengths and weaknesses of the institution in relation to preventing school dropout. The findings of this research will be of great use to school administrators and teachers as they will allow them to design effective strategies to prevent school dropout and improve the quality of education in the area. | |
