Abstract
The development of this research is framed in the analysis of reading comprehension and its impact on student learning, for which the general objective was established, to analyze the impact of reading comprehension on the learning of 4th grade students, year of EGB of the Malchinguí Educational Unit during the 2023-2024 school year, this led to characterizing the process of reading comprehension, identifying teaching methods and resources as dynamics to strengthen learning and arguing the advantages in the development of critical thinking and students' creativity helping them understand a text. The hypothesis posed whether reading comprehension affects the learning of 4th grade students, year of basic general education. The theoretical framework was developed based on the variables of the topic raised, where the importance of reading comprehension was discussed as an indispensable element when achieving learning achievements. Reaching the conclusion that reading comprehension is of great importance and that it is fundamental for the teaching-learning process of students.

El desarrollo de la presente investigación se enmarca en análisis de la comprensión lectora y su incidencia en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes para lo cual se estableció en el objetivo general, analizar la incidencia de la comprensión lectora en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de 4to. año de EGB de la Unidad Educativa Malchinguí durante el año lectivo 2023-2024, esto conllevó a caracterizar el proceso de la comprensión lectora, identificar los métodos y recursos didácticos como dinámicas para fortalecer el aprendizaje y argumentar las ventajas en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y creativo de los estudiantes ayudando a entender un texto. La hipótesis planteaba si la comprensión lectora incide en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de 4to. año de educación general básica. El marco teórico se desarrolló en base a las variables del tema planteado, en donde se trató la importancia de la comprensión lectora como elemento indispensable al momento de alcanzar los logros de aprendizaje. Llegando a la conclusión de que la comprensión lectora es de gran importancia y que es fundamental para el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
