Abstract
The study entitled "Work Climate and Work Performance of Administrative
Personnel at the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS), 2024" aims to
analyze the relationship between the work climate and the performance of the
administrative personnel of this institution. The research seeks to identify
opportunities for improvement in the work environment to increase productivity.
The methodology is of a basic or pure type, focused on generating theoretical
knowledge about work dynamics. A combined approach is employed, using both
qualitative and quantitative methods, to obtain a comprehensive view of work
climate and performance. The design is non-experimental, which implies that
variables will not be manipulated and environmental conditions will not be
controlled. The study population is composed of 56 people from the
administrative area of the IESS. Structured questionnaires and interviews with
open-ended questions will be used for data collection in order to obtain both
quantitative and qualitative data that provide a complete view of the subject under
investigation.

El estudio titulado "Clima Laboral y el Desempeño Laboral del Personal
Administrativo en el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS), 2024" tiene
como objetivo analizar la relación entre el clima laboral y el desempeño del
personal administrativo de esta institución. La investigación busca identificar
oportunidades de mejora en el ambiente de trabajo para aumentar la
productividad. La metodología es de tipo básica o pura, enfocada en generar
conocimiento teórico sobre las dinámicas laborales. Se emplea un enfoque
combinado, utilizando tanto métodos cualitativos como cuantitativos, para
obtener una visión integral del clima y desempeño laboral. El diseño es no
experimental, lo que implica que no se manipularán las variables ni se controlarán
las condiciones del entorno. La población del estudio está compuesta por 56
personas del área administrativa del IESS. Para la recolección de datos se
utilizarán cuestionarios estructurados, con el fin de obtener datos cuantitativos
que proporcionen una visión completa sobre el tema investigado.
