USO DE LAS TIC PARA EL DESARROLLO DE HABILIDADES Y FAVORECER EL PROCESO DE APRENDIZAJE DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE BÁSICA SUPERIOR DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “BENIGNO JARA” DEL CANTÓN GIRÓN PROVINCIA DEL AZUAY

Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies (TICs) play an important role in education today. These tools allow for the diversification of teaching strategies, the expansion of information sources, and the promotion of more active and diverse learning. In this regard, the research determines how the use of ICTs enhances the development of skills in the learning process of upper elementary school students at the Benigno Jara Educational Unit in the Girón canton of Azuay province. To achieve this, bibliographic sources were reviewed, and a survey was administered to the institution's students. Finally, the data collected was used to explain to teachers and students the importance of using digital resources, as it facilitates the acquisition of cognitive, technological, and socio-emotional skills, fosters autonomy and creativity, and strengthens collaborative work.
