| dc.description | El uso de herramientas digitales en la educación motiva a los estudiantes, facilita el aprendizaje interactivo y mejora la retención de conceptos. Esta investigación analizó la influencia del uso de Kahoot! en la mejora de la comprensión lectora de estudiantes de octavo año de básica superior en la Unidad Educativa Isidoro Barriga. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo y explicativo con un enfoque cuantitativo y el método analítico con un diseño preexperimental, se aplicaron pruebas de comprensión lectora antes y después de la intervención con Kahoot!, que incluyó actividades interactivas y gamificadas. Los resultados mostraron un avance significativo: el 90 % de los estudiantes alcanzó los niveles Excelente y Muy Satisfactorio en la prueba final, frente al 20 % en la fase diagnóstica. Además, ningún estudiante se ubicó en el nivel Insuficiente. Se concluye que Kahoot! es una herramienta efectiva para mejorar la comprensión lectora, motivar a los estudiantes y desarrollar habilidades de pensamiento crítico, aunque se recomienda reforzar aspectos como la inferencia en aquellos que aún presentan dificultades | |
| dc.description.abstract | The use of digital tools in education motivates students, facilitates interactive learning and improves concept retention. This research analyzed the influence of the use of Kahoot! in the improvement of reading comprehension of eighth grade students in the Isidoro Barriga Educational Unit. The research is descriptive and explanatory with a quantitative approach and analytical method with a pre-experimental design, reading comprehension tests were applied before and after the Kahoot! intervention, which included interactive and gamified activities. The results showed significant progress: 90% of the students reached Excellent and Very Satisfactory levels in the final test, compared to 20% in the diagnostic phase. In addition, no student was placed at the Insufficient level. It is concluded that Kahoot! is an effective tool to improve reading comprehension, motivate students and develop critical thinking skills, although it is recommended to reinforce aspects such as inference in those who still have difficulties. | |
