Abstract
The following research work deals with the teaching profile and its influence on the educational quality in the sixth-grade EGB students of the Lic. Rafael Sotomayor Gallardo Educational Unit, whose general objective is: to analyze the influence of the teaching profile on the educational quality of the Lic. Rafael Sotomayor Gallardo Educational Unit. In which a research methodology with a mixed approach, of an explanatory type, with a documentary - non-experimental design, was used, aimed at a population of 234 students and 7 teachers. With a sample of 29 students and one teacher. The technique used for data collection is the observational sheet, survey and interview; and the instrument used in this research was the question questionnaire. Concluding that the teaching profile affects educational quality.

El siguiente trabajo investigativo trata de perfil docente y su influencia en la calidad educativa en los estudiantes de sexto de EGB de la Unidad Educativa Lic. Rafael Sotomayor Gallardo, que tiene como objetivo general: analizar la influencia del perfil docente en la calidad educativa de la Unidad Educativa Lic. Rafael Sotomayor Gallardo. En lo cual se ha utilizado una metodología de investigación con enfoque mixto, de tipo explicativo, con un diseño documental – no experimental, dirigida a una población de 234 estudiantes y 7 docentes. Con un muestreo de 29 estudiantes y un docente. La técnica utilizada para la recolección de datos es la ficha observacional, encuesta y entrevista; y el instrumento utilizado en esta investigación fue el cuestionario de preguntas. Concluyendo que el perfil docente incide en la calidad educativa.
