Abstract
The objective of this research project is to apply the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology in a developing road project called "Via Monte Sinai". It has been detected that there are problems related to coordination among different disciplines in this road project, which can affect the project's development and the quality of the final work. By implementing BIM, it is expected to improve coordination among different disciplines, allowing the identification of possible conflicts and problems during the design stage, which in turn will reduce construction costs and times. An analysis of the different BIM models available in the market will be carried out, and the most suitable one for the project will be selected. In addition, an analysis of the project's current situation will be carried out, and critical areas where greater benefits are expected with the application of BIM will be identified.

El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo aplicar la metodología Building Information Modeling (BIM) en un proyecto vial en desarrollo llamado "Via Monte Sinaí". Se ha detectado que en este proyecto vial existen problemas relacionados con la coordinación entre las diferentes disciplinas, lo cual puede afectar el desarrollo del proyecto y la calidad de la obra final. Con la implementación de BIM, se espera mejorar la coordinación entre las diferentes disciplinas, permitiendo la identificación de posibles conflictos y problemas durante la etapa de diseño, lo que a su vez reducirá los costos y tiempos de construcción. Se realizará un análisis de los diferentes modelos de BIM existentes en el mercado y se seleccionará el más adecuado para el proyecto. Además, se llevará a cabo un análisis de la situación actual del proyecto y se identificarán las áreas críticas donde se espera tener mayores beneficios con la aplicación de BIM.
