DISEÑO URBANO ARQUITECTÓNICO DE UN PARQUE INFANTIL EN EL CANTÓN Pindal PROVINCIA DE LOJA

Abstract

The lack of green areas and recreational spaces for children in the Pindal Canton is a problem that affects the integral development of children in the region. To address this deficiency, an urban architectural design for a playground in the Pindal Canton is proposed, with the general objective of creating a recreational and playful space that promotes social integration and the appropriation of urban space by the community. To carry out this project, surveys were conducted and a proposal was developed with urban and architectural strategies, based on the active participation of children. The use of medicinal and native plants in the design was considered, seeking to promote local biodiversity and environmental care. One of the key aspects of this project is to improve the accessibility of public space, ensuring that it is inclusive and accessible to all. It is expected that this playground will not only improve the quality of life for children in the Pindal Canton but also contribute to preserving local identity, promoting outdoor play activities, and contact with nature. In conclusion, the urban architectural design of the playground in the Pindal Canton seeks to create a space that is not only recreational but also educational and cultural, integrating the needs of the community and rescuing the essence and playful activity typical of childhood.
