Abstract

The architectural proposal for an interactive contemporary art museum in Samborondón aims to create artistic and gathering spaces that respond to the immediate urban context needs of Buijo Histórico. This initiative arises due to the lack of cultural spaces in the area, with the objective of addressing this shortage and enhancing the Buijo Histórico sector, a place that has been left behind in terms of urban development. By utilizing contemporary art museography design strategies applied both inside and outside, the project will allow for experimentation beyond the traditional model. This innovative approach will make the museum an iconic and distinctive place in the area, boosting tourism and attracting both local and foreign visitors. The museum will contribute to the economic and social development of the sector and its surroundings, offering a platform for local and emerging artists and enriching the cultural offerings of Samborondón.
