IMPACTO DE LA TRANSFORMACIÓN DIGITAL EN LA APLICACIÓN DE LA LEY DE REGISTRO DEL ECUADOR

Abstract

This research entitled “Impact of Digital Transformation on the Application of Ecuador's Registry Law” analyzes how digitalization has influenced the country's registry system, improving the efficiency and legal security of real estate registration processes. Modernization has made it possible to streamline procedures and reduce waiting times through automation and the use of digital platforms. However, some challenges are also highlighted, such as the adaptation of the legal framework to new technologies, the need to train officials, and the implementation of cybersecurity measures to protect registered information. A series of solutions are proposed, such as the implementation of the regulatory framework, the strengthening of data security and the continuous improvement in the training of registry staff, in order to ensure a safe and efficient transition to a fully digital registry system in Ecuador.
