RELACIÓN ENTRE EL DESEMPEÑO DOCENTE Y EL APRENDIZAJE DE LOS ESTUDIANTES EN LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA SANTA ANA DE COTACACHI

Abstract

Teacher performance is part of the learning process, since it is linked to key aspects such as effort and pedagogical strategies applied. In this context, the objective of this research was to analyze the relationship between teacher performance and student learning at the Santa Ana de Cotacachi Educational Unit. The research adopted a mixed approach with a descriptive and correlational scope, applying a survey to 108 students to determine their perception of teacher performance and determine a statistical relationship with quantitatively assessed learning. The results showed a high valuation of teaching performance by students, although the correlation between teaching performance and learning was weak. This suggests that, although it influences learning, it is not the only determining factor. In conclusion, teacher performance is relevant, but its impact is moderated by other elements of the educational environment.}
