| dc.description | Este estudio aborda la incidencia de la brecha digital en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, analizando cómo la falta de acceso a tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) perpetúa desigualdades educativas. Con un enfoque mixto, se aplicaron encuestas a 89 estudiantes de bachillerato, agrupados en aquellos con y sin acceso a recursos tecnológicos, para identificar la relación entre el acceso a dispositivos tecnológicos y la capacitación en herramientas digitales. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes sin recursos tecnológicos presentan un rendimiento académico significativamente inferior en comparación con aquellos que sí tienen acceso, mientras que los estudiantes con acceso a dispositivos reportan una mejora en su experiencia educativa. Además, la capacitación en herramientas digitales se correlaciona positivamente con la calidad de sus tareas y el desempeño académico. En conclusión, el estudio subraya la necesidad urgente de implementar estrategias específicas, como la provisión de infraestructura tecnológica y programas de formación en competencias digitales, para mitigar la brecha digital y garantizar oportunidades equitativas de aprendizaje. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study addresses the incidence of the digital divide in students' learning, analyzing how the lack of access to information and communication technologies (ICT) perpetuates educational inequalities. Using a mixed-methods approach, surveys were conducted with 89 high school students, grouped into those with and without access to technological resources, to identify the relationship between access to technological devices and training in digital tools. The results show that students without technological resources have significantly lower academic performance compared to those with access, while students with access to devices report an improvement in their educational experience. Furthermore, training in digital tools positively correlates with the quality of their assignments and academic performance. In conclusion, the study underscores the urgent need to implement specific strategies, such as providing technological infrastructure and training programs in digital competencies, to mitigate the digital divide and ensure equitable learning opportunities. | |
