| dc.description | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo indagar el fenómeno turístico en emplazamientos rurales y comunitarios, desde la óptica de sus impactos. El lugar planteado para el estudio es la playa Santa Marianita, en el cantón Salitre, un emplazamiento donde dicha actividad viene realizándose en los últimos años de manera un tanto informal y descontrolada. Para ello se ha propuesto un acercamiento a los actores clave mediante una metodología cualicuantitativa, a partir de encuestas a una muestra de servidores turísticos y una entrevista a representantes de la administración pública encargada del lugar, siguiendo el planteamiento anterior de Andereck, Valentine, Knopf, & Vogt(2005). Los resultados obtenidos muestran la percepción general de los residentes de que el turismo ha traído grandes beneficios al cantón y de que se trata de una actividad en auge en el Ecuador. A pesar de ello afirman la necesidad de regulaciones y leyes claras para su control. Del mismo modo la administración afirma que los principales problemas son la inexistencia de una política de Estado que controle la actividad; así como el escaso nivel de capacitación global ante los cambios del entorno. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to investigate the phenomenon of tourism in rural sites, from the perspective of its impacts. The site proposed for the study is the beach of Santa Marianita, in the Canton Salitre, a location where such activity has been taking place in recent years in a casual and uncontrolled way. To this end, an approach has raised the key players through quali-quantitative methodology based on a sample survey of tourist servers and interview with representatives of public administration in charge of the place, following the above approach of (Andereck, Valentine, Knopf, & Vogt, 2005). The results show the general perception of residents that tourism has brought great benefits to the Canton and that is a booming activity in Ecuador. However they affirm the need for clear regulations and laws to control it. Similarity, the administrations states that the main problems are the lack of a state policy that controls the activity; and the overall low level of training that the person requires at the changing environment. | es |
