| dc.description | El aprendizaje del inglés es cada vez más relevante, pero la exposición cotidiana al idioma fuera del aula varía entre los estudiantes. Esta investigación analiza su impacto en el desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas en estudiantes de Preparatoria y Elemental, empleando un enfoque mixto con encuestas a estudiantes, padres y docentes, además de un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo. Los resultados muestran que una mayor exposición al inglés fuera del aula mejora el desarrollo comunicativo, destacando la música y los videojuegos como herramientas clave. Sin embargo, se identificaron barreras socioeconómicas que limitan esta exposición, lo que resalta la necesidad de estrategias pedagógicas que incorporen tecnología y la participación familiar. Se concluye que fomentar el uso del inglés en entornos naturales, como el hogar, fortalece el aprendizaje y la fluidez del idioma, ayudando a reducir desigualdades en el acceso a oportunidades de desarrollo lingüístico. | |
| dc.description.abstract | English learning is becoming more and more relevant, but daily exposure to the language outside the classroom varies among students. This research analyzes its impact on the development of communication skills in high school and elementary school students, using a mixed approach with surveys of students, parents and teachers, as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results show that greater exposure to English outside the classroom improves communication development, highlighting music and video games as key tools. However, socioeconomic barriers were identified that limit this exposure, highlighting the need for pedagogical strategies that incorporate technology and family participation. It is concluded that promoting the use of English in natural environments, such as the home, strengthens language learning and fluency, helping to reduce inequalities in access to language development opportunities. | |
