| dc.description | Este estudio analiza la integración de herramientas tecnológicas en seis instituciones educativas de la Amazonía ecuatoriana, tres urbanas y tres rurales, con el objetivo de identificar barreras y oportunidades en el uso de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC). Mediante un enfoque metodológico mixto y un diseño descriptivo-correlacional, se evaluaron aspectos como la infraestructura tecnológica, la formación docente y el impacto en las competencias digitales de los estudiantes. Los resultados evidencian una brecha digital significativa, reflejada en el acceso desigual a recursos tecnológicos y en la capacitación docente insuficiente en las zonas rurales. Se proponen estrategias para reducir esta brecha mediante inversiones en infraestructura, programas de formación docente y políticas inclusivas que fomenten la equidad digital en el sistema educativo ecuatoriano. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study analyzes the integration of technological tools in six educational institutions in the Ecuadorian Amazon, three urban and three rural, aiming to identify barriers and opportunities in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Using a mixed-method approach and a descriptive-correlational design, aspects such as technological infrastructure, teacher training, and the impact on students’ digital skills were evaluated. The results reveal a significant digital divide, reflected in unequal access to technological resources and insufficient teacher training in rural areas. Strategies are proposed to reduce this gap through investments in infrastructure, teacher training programs, and inclusive policies that promote digital equity in the Ecuadorian educational system. | |
