Abstract
First, the 'Innovative Teaching Strategies to Strengthen Reading Understanding of Eighth Grade Students' presents a detailed approach to the importance of improving reading understanding in students at this educational stage. The study, carried out in the province of Guayas, specifically in the Balzar canton, focuses on the implementation of innovative teaching strategies to address reading comprehension difficulties in a diverse group of students. The main focus is on the creation of an evaluation rubric to identify students with lower performance, showing that 30 students did not meet the established criteria. The 26 September educational institution, which hosts a large number of students in Balzar, becomes the main stage of the research. The diversity of pupils provides a unique opportunity to understand the needs and challenges of the student community. It is important to note that, in order to measure the effectiveness of the strategies implemented, standard reading comprehension tests will be carried out before and after the intervention. These tests include reading narrative passages, identifying key themes in informative texts and relating words to their contextual meaning. The descriptive analysis of the data collected will identify patterns and trends, which are essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning.

En primer lugar, las "Estrategias Didácticas innovadoras para fortalecer la comprensión lectora de los estudiantes de octavo grado" presenta un enfoque detallado sobre la importancia de mejorar la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de esta etapa educativa. El estudio, realizado en la provincia del Guayas, específicamente en el cantón Balzar, se centra en la implementación de estrategias didácticas innovadoras para abordar las dificultades de comprensión lectora en un grupo diverso de estudiantes. Fundamentalmente se destaca la creación de una rúbrica de evaluación para identificar a los estudiantes con menor rendimiento, evidenciando que 30 estudiantes no cumplieron con los criterios establecidos. La institución educativa 26 de septiembre, que alberga a un gran número de estudiantes en el cantón Balzar, se convierte en el escenario principal de la investigación. La diversidad demográfica de los alumnos proporciona una oportunidad única para comprender las necesidades y desafíos de la comunidad estudiantil. Cabe destacar que, para medir la eficacia de las estrategias implementadas, se realizarán pruebas estándar de comprensión lectora antes y después de la intervención. Estas pruebas incluyen la lectura de pasajes narrativos, la identificación de temas principales en textos informativos y la relación de palabras con su significado en contexto. El análisis descriptivo de los datos recopilados permitirá identificar patrones y tendencias, fundamentales para la toma de decisiones informadas y la planificación estratégica.
