| dc.description | Este estudio analiza la relación entre la migración y la deserción escolar en la parroquia Chotamarca del cantón Cañar, destacando cómo la ausencia parental influye en la continuidad educativa de los estudiantes. A través de un enfoque mixto, se examinan los efectos de la falta de supervisión en el hogar, el impacto emocional y los cambios en la dinámica escolar. Se identifican factores como la disminución del apoyo académico y la necesidad de asumir responsabilidades adicionales, que afectan la motivación y permanencia en la escuela. Además, se resalta la importancia de la comunicación entre instituciones educativas y familias, así como la necesidad de estrategias de intervención para mitigar el impacto de la migración en la educación. Se concluye que es fundamental desarrollar programas de apoyo socioemocional y fortalecer la participación de la comunidad en el proceso educativo para reducir el abandono escolar y garantizar mejores oportunidades para los estudiantes. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study analyzes the relationship between migration and school dropout in the Chotamarca parish of the Cañar canton, highlighting how parental absence influences students' educational continuity. Through a mixed-method approach, the effects of lack of supervision at home, emotional impact, and changes in school dynamics are examined. Factors such as reduced academic support and the need to take on additional responsibilities are identified, affecting students' motivation and school retention. Furthermore, the importance of communication between educational institutions and families is emphasized, along with the need for intervention strategies to mitigate the impact of migration on education. The study concludes that it is essential to develop socio-emotional support programs and strengthen community involvement in the educational process to reduce school dropout and ensure better opportunities for students | |
