| dc.description | La inteligencia emocional y su influencia en el campo laboral tiene mucho interés en el campo de los negocios, sin embargo, dentro de un contexto educativo existen limitadas propuestas de investigación. El presente estudio tiene por objeto demostrar la existencia de asociación de la inteligencia emocional con el desempeño docente en un número de cien profesionales de la educación. Para ello, se recurre a evaluar mediante el test TMMS-24 a los docentes y la evaluación del desempeño docente se realizó con el instrumento utilizado oficialmente por el Ministerio de Educación en docentes y autoridades del plantel. La asociación estadística ha sido realizada con la prueba U de Mann Whitney con un nivel de significancia del 0,05. Los resultados muestran asociación significativa de la inteligencia emocional y el desempeño laboral docente, en lo que corresponde a habilidades pedagógicas y didácticas dentro de una unidad educativa privada de la ciudad de Cuenca. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | Emotional intelligence and influence in the workplace is very interested in the field of business, however, within an educational context there is limited research proposals. This study aims to demonstrate the existence of emotional intelligence association with teacher performance. The sample of the study included a hundred of teachers. To do this, the teachers were evaluates the test by TMMS-24 and teacher job performance evaluation was evaluated with the instrument officially used by the Ministry of Education which was applied on teachers and school authorities. The statistical association has been made with the Mann Whitney U test with a significance level of 0.05. The results show significant association of emotional intelligence and job performance in teaching corresponding to pedagogical and didactic skills within a private educational unit of the city of Cuenca. | es |
