| dc.description | El proceso de aprender un segundo idioma plantea considerables desafíos, especialmente en los niveles de educación primaria. Por lo tanto, el objetivo principal de la investigación en curso es evaluar la eficacia del enfoque de inmersión para enseñar alemán como segunda lengua a estudiantes de segundo grado que tienen un dominio limitado de su primera lengua, el castellano. La metodología empleada es cualitativa, lo que permitió explorar y describir de manera sistemática los fenómenos desde la perspectiva de los participantes. Esto se logró a través de entrevistas, observaciones, evaluaciones, registros de diarios y conversaciones. La conclusión más significativa de la investigación fue que el método de inmersión per se no es suficiente para la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma alemán en estudiantes que tienen dificultades en su lengua materna, y que además se deben considerar metodologías individualizadas de la mano del proceso de inmersión. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The process of learning a second language poses considerable challenges, especially at the elementary school level. Therefore, the main objective of the current research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the immersion approach to teach German as a second language to second grade students who have limited proficiency in their first language, Spanish. The methodology employed is qualitative, which allowed us to systematically explore and describe the phenomena from the perspective of the participants. This was achieved through interviews, observations, evaluations, diary entries and conversations. The most significant conclusion of the research was that the immersion method per se is not sufficient for the teaching and learning of the German language in students who have difficulties in their mother tongue, and that individualized methodologies should be considered alongside the immersion process. | |
