Abstract
The present research aimed to analyze the influence of educational intervention strategies on the development of social skills in students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the 5th year of Secondary Education at the Juan Pablo II Institution in Esmeraldas. Using a quantitative approach, a structured survey was administered to six teachers who work directly with students with ASD. Among the most relevant results, it was evident that more than 80% of the teachers who serve the 50 students, nine of whom are diagnosed with ASD, and who present limited or restricted social interactions, primarily with the teacher. It was also identified that the strategies applied are not always adapted to the individual needs of the students, with individual work predominating over collaborative activities.
