Abstract
The implementation of COSO guidelines in pursuit of improving the quality metrics of a luxury hotel located in the Galápagos Islands, thereby enhancing its operations and internal control. The primary objective is to increase the value-for-money metrics and the overall metrics for stay satisfaction and service quality. Hiring an external hotel professional is the best option to achieve better results and is the most cost-effective in terms of benefits. Likewise, it is of vital importance to periodically monitor and control these implemented changes, checking if they are positively affecting the hotel and if the established procedures are being followed.

La implementación de directrices COSO en busca de la mejora de las métricas de calidad de un lujoso hotel ubicado en Galápagos mejorando de esta manera la operación y el control interno de este. El principal objetivo es aumentar las métricas de relación calidad-precio y las métricas generales de satisfacción de estadía y calidad del servicio. La contratación de un profesional de hotelería externo resulta ser la mejor opción para obtener mejores resultados y la más rentable en términos de beneficios. De igual manera es de vital importancia dar un seguimiento y control periódicamente de estos cambios implementados revisando si los cambios afectan de manera positiva y si se están cumpliendo procedimientos establecidos.
