| dc.description.abstract | The study aimed to analyze the use of interactive visual productions as an alternative assessment strategy to reveal high school students’ understanding of mathematical content. A quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest was applied in two third-year classes, assigning one to the experimental condition (interactive production in Desmos and GeoGebra) and the other to the control condition (traditional task). The instruments used were the Basic Comprehension Test (PCB), the Analytical Rubric of Products (RPI), and the Experience and Motivation Questionnaire (CEM). Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group compared to the control, with strong performance in representation and technical communication, although with weaknesses in justification. Likewise, students reported high interest and perceived usefulness, together with a moderate cognitive load. In conclusion, the strategy proved pedagogically viable and formative, with potential to strengthen both conceptual learning and student motivation in the mathematics classroom. | |
