Abstract
The present study focused on the integral knowledge of the importance and relation of occupational safety in the construction sector in the city of Guayaquil. In all organizations, regardless of the category, the human being is the main engine, but in many cases being the most obvious is not handled or taken into consideration. Based on this premise, the present study aimed to know the congruence between the occupational climate and the occupational safety in the performance of the workers of the construction company Hidalgo & Hidalgo, a company in the construction sector. To know what is the perception of the collaborators of a construction company in the city of Guayaquil, about the occupational health programs that are handled in the company in which they work emphasizing in the work environment as a psychosocial risk factor since its conceptualization.

El presente estudio de trabajo se enfocó en el conocimiento integral de la importancia y relación de la seguridad ocupacional en el sector de la construcción en la ciudad de Guayaquil. En todas las organizaciones, sin importar el rubro, el ser humano es el principal motor, pero en muchas ocasiones siendo lo más obvio no se lo maneja o toma en consideración. Con base a dicha premisa, el presente estudio tubo como finalidad conocer la congruencia entre el clima laboral y la seguridad ocupacional en el desempeño de los trabajadores de la constructora Hidalgo&Hidalgo, empresa del sector de la construcción. Conocer cuál es la percepción de los colaboradores de una constructora de la ciudad de Guayaquil, sobre los programas de salud ocupacional que se manejan en la empresa en las que laboran enfatizando en el clima laboral como factor de riesgo psicosocial desde su conceptualización.
