Abstract

The thesis aims to highlight the need for legislative reform that classifies the mistreatment and death of urban wildlife as public action crimes and proposes the creation of an inter-institutional system to effectively supervise, control, and sanction these crimes. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of assessing and monitoring the environment of domestic animals deemed violent, holding their owners accountable, and potentially preventing the commission of other crimes
