Abstract

The idea of leaving a mark on the world is something that human beings have sought since the beginning of time, from cave paintings, architecture, and traditions are part of the culture, an art that seeks to capture the diversity of a people. For the project we analyzed the cantons of Duale, Samborondón and Salitre, which have a great wealth with respect to Montubio culture, with activities such as the rodeo, the recitation of amorfinos, the theatrical interpretations of the Montubio courtship and landscapes, are customs which unfortunately by the urban growth of recent years was influenced by the displacement of this essence, which is why the project is aimed at taking advantage of these traditions by providing the sector with a facility where culture is promoted. The analysis of the different virtues present in the sector makes possible the creation of an alternative to improve the cultural development of the cantons, integrating with the community. A cultural center houses different activities that help develop different skills, the objective of this project is to create a space where children are the main beneficiaries, that is why the building should be a prominent symbol where cultural activities are promoted, instilling in the new generations the integration with their community through artistic and indigenous activities of the sector so that future generations can reconnect with their identity and promote multiculturalism
