Abstract
The different places where art is expressed in Guayaquil are of vital importance to maintain the transcendental focus of the existing culture in
the city. However, the notoriety of these places has been decreasing according to the new urban movements, and other factors such as lack of
maintenance, and dissemination by means of trend.
Demonstrating the interest of keeping the culture and expressions of art alive, the Guayaquil society manifests the need to have spaces where
the artistic is visible from the teaching to the exhibition, and that this infrastructure is available as an integral center with inclusive criteria.
This art space project in Guayaquil shows the importance of considering the natural aspects of the environment, as an integrator of the landscape
and the community. The proposal has workshops for reading, painting, sculpture, music, dance, library, theater and complementary areas such as
administration, cafeteria, sanitary batteries and parking. In this way, the whole is conceived as buildings under bioclimatic criteria of location,
sustainability, organic and inclusive architecture.
Description
Los diferentes sitios donde se expresa arte en Guayaquil, son de vital importancia para mantener el enfoque transcendental de la cultura existente
en la ciudad. Sin embargo, la notoriedad de estos lugares ha ido decreciendo conforme a los nuevos movimientos urbanos, y otros factores como
la falta de mantenimiento de los mismos, y la difusión por medios en tendencia.
Demostrando el interés de mantener viva la cultura y expresiones de arte, la sociedad Guayaquileña manifiesta la necesidad de contar con
espacios donde lo artístico sea visible desde la enseñanza hasta la exhibición, y que esta infraestructura se disponga como un centro integral con
criterios inclusivos. La metodología aplicada fue una encuesta dirigida al público en general, la cual determinó varios aspectos que abarcan desde
la aceptación de un proyecto artístico y cultural, hasta la formación de la programación.
Este proyecto de espacio de arte en Guayaquil manifiesta la importancia de considerar los aspectos naturales del entorno, como integradora del
paisaje y la comunidad. La propuesta dispone de talleres de lectura, pintura, escultura, música, danza, biblioteca, teatro y zonas complementarias
como administración, cafetería, baterías sanitarias y estacionamientos. De esta manera, el conjunto se concibe como edificación bajo criterios
bioclimáticos de emplazamiento, sostenibilidad, arquitectura orgánica e inclusiva.
