DISEÑO DE UN PROTOTIPO DE VIVIENDA SOCIAL SUSTENTABLE EN LA CIUDAD DE GUAYAQUIL

Abstract

In this undergraduate degree project, a prototype of modular social housing is proposed for the city of Guayaquil. Which followed a mixed type investigation process. Data and theories were investigated, surveys, interviews, site visits were conducted, and analogous cases were analyzed. This information helped to show the qualitative and quantitative housing deficit of the city, it is a problem that affects basic human needs. However, it was possible to analyze possible solutions for the affected inhabitants, therefore, in this degree project, Design of a prototype of modular social housing of a sustainable and incremental nature is proposed, implanted in the northeast of the city, in the neighborhood named Las orquideas.
