Título : COMPLICACIONES DE LA HEMORRAGIA SUBARACNOIDEA ANEURISMÁTICA EN LOS PACIENTES INGRESADOS EN LA UNIDAD DE CUIDADOS INTENSIVOS DEL HOSPITAL ALCÍVAR EN EL PERIODO FEBRERO 2016 – OCTUBRE 2018

Resumen : To analyze the complications of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage in patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Alcívar Hospital from February 2016 to October 2018. Methodology: An observational, quantitative, retrospective, analytical and transversal, which will analyze the medical records of 36 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage in the> Intensive Care unit. The sample was non-probabilistic for convenience and Excel 2010 and SPSS 21 will be used for the statistical analysis of the information. For each patient, the demographic and clinical characteristics will be recorded in a data collection forms. Results: The age group most affected was> 60 years of age with 50% of cases, especially males (52.8%). 69.5% (25) developed clinical complications during their hospital stay, the most frequent being hyponatremia (36.1%), rebleeding (16.7%) and vasospasm (16.7%). The most common risk factors were the presence of hypertension (55.6%), cigarette smoking (44.4%), association of diabetes mellitus and hypertension (36.3%) and obesity (28.4%). Conclusions: A statistically significant association was found between the complications with the risk factors: hypertension, cigarette consumption, obesity and association of hypertension with diabetes mellitus, because the probability obtained from the p-value was <a 0.05.
Descripción : Analizar las complicaciones de la hemorragia subaracnoidea aneurismática en los pacientes ingresados en la Unidad de Cuidados intensivos del Hospital Alcívar en el periodo febrero 2016 – octubre 2018. Metodología: Se realizará una investigación de tipo observacional, de enfoque cuantitativo, retrospectivo, analítico y transversal, que analizará las historias clínicas de 36 pacientes con hemorragia subaracnoidea en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. La muestra fue de tipo no probabilística por conveniencia y se empleará Excel 2010 y SPSS 21 para el análisis estadístico de la información. Para cada paciente, se registrará las características demográficas y clínicas en un formulario de recolección de datos. Resultados: El grupo etario más afectado fue el > 60 años de edad con el 50% de los casos, especialmente del sexo masculino (52,8%). El 69,5% (25) desarrollaron complicaciones clínicas durante su estancia hospitalaria, siendo las más frecuentes la hiponatremia (36,1%), resangrado (16,7%) y vasoespasmo (16,7%). Los factores de riesgo más comunes fueron la presencia de hipertensión arterial (55,6%), consumo de cigarrillos (44,4%), asociación de diabetes mellitus e hipertensión arterial (36,3%) y obesidad (28,4%). Conclusiones: Se encontró asociación estadísticamente significativa entre las complicaciones con los factores de riesgo: hipertensión arterial, consumo de cigarrillos, obesidad y asociación de hipertensión arterial con diabetes mellitus, porque que la probabilidad obtenida del p-valor fue < a 0,05.
