KARLA ESTAFANIA CONDO VERA2026-09-212026-09-212023-09-01https://repositorio.uees.edu.ec/handle/123456789/5403El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo Analizar la relación del rol del padre de familia y su influencia en el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de preparatoria de la Unidad Educativa 26 de Febrero del cantón Paute, en el período 2022-2023; este estudio tuvo un diseño no experimental, de modo transversal y un enfoque mixto cuantitativo y cualitativo. Los participantes de esta indagación fueron sesenta y seis padres de familia escogidos de forma aleatoria y tres docentes. Una vez obtenido los resultados de las encuestas y entrevistas se procedió a un análisis y triangulación de la información, determinándose que, el rol que cumple el padre de familia en la educación de los hijos es considerada importante y tiene influencia en su rendimiento académico. Por otro lado, hay una controversia entre los resultados de los padres de familia y la de los docentes en cuanto al apoyo que brindan en los procesos de aprendizaje. Los padres aluden que, si brindan ayuda en la educación de sus hijos, sin embargo, para los docentes este apoyo no ha sido evidente debido a su falta de corresponsabilidad para que el proceso educativo sea efectivo y tengan buenos resultados.The objective of this research work was to analyze the relationship between the role of the parent and its influence on the academic performance of high school students of the 26 de Febrero Educational Unit of the Paute canton, in the period 2022-2023; this study had a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach. The participants in this research were sixty-six randomly selected parents and three teachers. Once the results of the surveys and interviews were obtained, the information was analyzed and triangulated, and it was determined that the role of the father in the education of his children is considered important and has an influence on their academic performance. On the other hand, there is a controversy between the results of parents and teachers regarding the support they provide in the learning process.
