JARAMILLO ROBLES2026-09-182026-09-182023-05-09https://repositorio.uees.edu.ec/handle/123456789/5345El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar las Tic como herramientas para la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los niños de 4to EGB de la Unidad Educativa Particular “Juana de Dios”. Esta investigación se dirige a explicar la realidad educativa; como también determinar la pertinencia de las TIC en el proceso educativo; así mismo establecer a “kahoot” como herramienta digital que promueva el aprendizaje del inglés. La recopilación de datos se fundamentó desde el enfoque cuantitativo con un carácter descriptivo - analítico, logrando diagnosticar la problemática que se presenta en la institución educativa sobre el tema en estudio. En relación con la muestra se consideró a todos los estudiantes del 4to de EGB, puesto que en este nivel educativo está planteada la problemática. El instrumento seleccionado fue la encuesta que para su construcción se relacionó los objetos de estudio, los cuales, sirvieron de guía para la elaboración del instrumento, lo que facilitó la recepción de opiniones y actitudes de los estudiantes involucrados en esta investigación. El análisis de resultados en la encuesta demuestra que las y los estudiantes se sienten atraídos por una enseñanza basada en la lúdica y la digitalización, concretando que las herramientas TIC, en específico, la plataforma “Kahoot”The objective of this research is to determine TIC’s as a tool for teaching and learning English as a second language in children of 4th grade (EGB) of the Private School "Juana de Dios". This research is aimed at explaining the educational reality; as well as determine the relevance of TIC’s in the educational process; otherwise, to establish "kahoot" as a digital tool that promotes the learning of English. The data collection was based on the quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical characters, letting us detect the main problem that occurs in the educational institution on the subject under study. In relation to the sample, all students of the 4th grade (EGB) were considered, since the problem is raised at this educational level. The selected instrument was a survey that was made in relation to the objects of study, which served as a guide for the elaboration of the instrument, which facilitated the reception of opinions and attitudes of the students involved in this investigation. The analysis of the results in the survey shows that the students are attracted by a teaching based on fun and digitization, specially using TIC’s as tools, specifically, "Kahoot" as platform, that become viable in the teaching of the English language in children of 4th grade (EGB).esherramientasTIC’senseñanzaproceso educativodocentes.Thesis
