This academic article analyzes the legal and patrimonial insufficiency of the Ecuadorian sports system regarding intentional injuries in professional football; historically, sports jurisdiction has shielded itself behind the assumption of risk theory to limit its scope to disciplinary sanctions, ignoring that the intention to harm fractures this presumption and constitutes a civil wrong, for this reason through a dogmatic and comparative analysis it is demonstrated that the punitive exclusivity of the Ecuadorian Football Federation and the slowness of ordinary civil justice leave the victim in a state of defenselessness. Currently, the system only covers actual damages through medical insurance acquired by the clubs, rendering invisible the athlete's true tragedy, which is the damage to their life project, the loss of opportunity, and the psychological impairment translated into a loss of competitive confidence, I will take international case law and more advanced legislation as a reference, the research concludes by proposing the creation of a Dispute Resolution Chamber for Civil Liability, this specialized arbitration mechanism, complemented by restorative justice protocols, seeks to guarantee comprehensive, swift, and humanized reparation, demonstrating that the athlete's dignity and financial stability must prevail over the sports spectacle.esResponsabilidad civillesión dolosalucro cesantepérdida de oportunidadarbitraje deportivojusticia restaurativaderecho deportivo.LA RESPONSABILIDAD INDIVIDUAL DEL FUTBOLISTA ECUATORIANO: MECANISMOS RESTAURATIVOS Y ARBITRAJE ESPECIALIZADO ANTE LESIONES DOLOSAS.Thesis
