LA ASOCIATIVIDAD DEL SECTOR CACAOTERO EN EL DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE DEL CANTÓN CHONE PROVINCIA DE MANABÍ

Abstract

Cocoa producers in the city of Chone are disorganized and there are no associative jobs. The objective of this research is to determine the perception of cocoa producers in Chone to the association, and so on to know the level of acceptance of itself. An analysis of the associative capacity of the cocoa sector in Chone was conducted through an exploratory qualitative research. Associativity of the cocoa sector was also analyzed in the sustainable development of the city, to know if the cocoa sector needs to be promoted in associative processes and implement a viable, feasible and cost-effective to achieve the desired sustainable development partnership model. The results show that the association itself generates expectations and high acceptance for cocoa producers that wants to implement the initiative in their geographic zone.
