BIBLIOTECA PÚBLICA COMUNITARIA EN LA PARROQUIA LA PROVIDENCIA DEL CANTÓN MACHALA

Abstract

The community library is a public institution that the Municipality offers its inhabitants as a creative,information and innovation space that is also free of charge and will generate citizen participation. Thisspace that will be carried out in the city of Machala of the El Oro canton will be the first communitylibrary for community service, which will not only give access to books and history, it will be a set ofspaces to encourage reading, research and growth citizens' staff giving them tools to advance in: studies,jobs, ventures, companies. This institution will be located between East Tenth Street and East NinthStreet and has an area of 927.59 m2. In order to obtain verified information on the needs and knowledge, a survey was carried out on 154citizens of Machala, with this I was able to obtain a better vision when designing, thus being able toinclude their needs, likewise to complete the previous investigation, I spoke with Arch. Hitler Pinos toobtain details about the construction of the project and to be able to merge the ideas raised with thestructure of the establishment. This library has different areas that make it even more inclusive, such as; a playful space for children thatencourages recreation and the tranquility of their parents when using this library, as well as atechnological space for young people and adults that encourages the search for new knowledge and as awork tool for entrepreneurs with spaces with green areas for that they can feel in contact with nature thattransmits relaxation and benefits cognitive functions and well-being, helping to reduce stress and thusgenerate greater productivity and creativity.
