Abstract

The work was entitled ‘’Geriatric residence with physiotherapy services for the elderly’’. This topic has been chosen with the intention of analyzing certain aspects of the impact of geriatric centers for the elderly and the need that is created in our environment to bring it closer to the field of architecture in order to reflect on how the spaces we inhabit cause us sensations and emotions even more for the elderly who reaching a certain age need assistance from professionals in the physiotherapeutic field, where in addition the living environment significantly influences their behavior and mood. The integral development center, besides being a meeting place for the elderly, will allow users to find in one place all the distractions they are looking for and let them develop their human capacities, such as physical skills, and interact in this way to be able to transmit important educational knowledge for their understanding and development.
